• To apply to any program within the Hacettepe University Graduate School of Health Sciences, the Institute’s General Application Requirements must be met.
• Hacettepe University Graduate School of Health Sciences – General Application Requirements:

a) Non-Thesis Master’s

• Graduation from the bachelor’s program of the relevant discipline, as proposed by the Academic Department Board and approved by the Institute Board.
• If required, possession of an ALES/GRE/GMAT score as proposed by the Academic Department Board and approved by the Institute Board (General Aptitude and Foreign Language Scores Table). 
• Possession of a foreign language score as proposed by the Academic Department Board and approved by the Institute Board (YDS or exams deemed equivalent by ÖSYM). (General Aptitude and Foreign Language Scores Table)
• For international applicants, possession of a TÖMER certificate at least at C1 level. (This requirement is not sought for programs taught in the applicant’s native language.)
• For international applicants and Turkish citizens who obtained their bachelor’s degree in a foreign country, possession of a diploma equivalency certificate approved by YÖK.

b) Thesis Master’s

• Graduation from the bachelor’s program of the relevant discipline, as proposed by the Academic Department Board and approved by the Institute Board.
• Possession of an ALES/GRE/GMAT score of at least 60 in the required score type. (General Aptitude and Foreign Language Scores Table)
• Possession of a foreign language score of at least 60 (YDS or equivalent exams). (General Aptitude and Foreign Language Scores Table)
• For international applicants, possession of a TÖMER certificate at least at C1 level. (This requirement is not sought for programs taught in the applicant’s native language.)
• For international applicants and Turkish citizens who obtained their bachelor’s degree in a foreign country, possession of a diploma equivalency certificate approved by YÖK (Council of Higher Education).

c) Doctorate (PhD)

• Possession of a master’s degree as proposed by the Academic Department Board and approved by the Institute Board; or, for graduates of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Veterinary faculties, possession of a bachelor’s degree; and an ALES/GRE/GMAT score of at least 60 in the required score type. (General Aptitude and Foreign Language Scores Table)
• For applicants to doctoral programs in Basic Medical Sciences: provided that it is not lower than the standard scores specified in the relevant regulations, applicants must have either a Basic Medicine Score from TUS or an ALES quantitative score, as determined by the Department Board’s recommendation, the Institute Board’s favorable opinion, and the Senate’s decision (for Hacettepe University Graduate School of Health Sciences, this score is 60).

The Basic Medicine Score is calculated by multiplying the standard score obtained in TUS Basic Medical Sciences Test-1 by 0.7 and the standard score obtained in the Clinical Medical Sciences Test by 0.3, then summing the two.

• Possession of a foreign language score of at least 70 (YDS or exams deemed equivalent by ÖSYM). (General Aptitude and Foreign Language Scores Table)
